Privacy policy

Last updated: October 5, 2026

Gestion M2SG protects the personal information it collects, in accordance with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25). This policy explains, in plain terms, what information we collect, why, how we protect it and what your rights are.

  1. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

The person with the highest authority at Gestion M2SG acts as the person in charge of the protection of personal information.

For any question, request for access or correction, or to file a complaint, write to with “Personal information” in the subject line.

  2. Information we collect

We collect the information you send us through our forms: name, company, email address, phone number (optional), your message and, for a quote request, the selected product, its options, the quantity, the desired date and your logo file.

When a form is submitted, we also store with your request technical information that helps us reply in the right language and locate your company: your browser’s language and time zone, the type of browser and device, how you reached our site (the site that led you to us, for example a search engine, and the first page viewed) and an approximate location (city, region, country) derived from your IP address. This location is not precise: it often matches your Internet provider.

When you browse the site, even without submitting a form, we record visit statistics: the pages viewed, how the visit reached our site, an approximate location (city, region, country), a truncated IP address (the last number is masked), the language, the time zone and the type of browser and device, as well as a few technical clues used to tell robots from human visitors: a browser driven by a program, the window size, whether a first interaction with the page occurred (click, touch or key press, without ever recording what you type) and the name of the Internet provider associated with the IP address. These statistics are used only to understand how the site is used. If you accept our cookie, these statistics and your requests are also linked to a random identifier of your device, which tells us you have visited before (see the “Cookies” section).

Your IP address is used only, temporarily, to limit the number of submissions against abuse and to determine this approximate location; it is not stored with your request, and only a truncated version (last number masked) is kept in the visit statistics.

  3. Purposes and consent

Your information is used only to reply to your message, prepare your quote, produce and deliver your order, and communicate with you about it. It is never used for any other purpose, including marketing, without your consent.

By submitting a form, you consent to your information being used for these purposes. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; we will then stop using it and destroy it, subject to our legal obligations.

  4. Disclosure to third parties

We never sell, rent or trade your information. Only the people at Gestion M2SG who need it to process your request have access to it.

We use service providers (website hosting, email, and an automation tool that routes requests to our team). They act on our behalf, only access the information they need, and are required to protect it and not use it for any other purpose.

To determine the approximate location of a visit or a request, your IP address is sent to a geolocation service (GeoJS), which receives only that address and returns the matching city, region and country to us.

To help our team process requests faster, their content (message, product and options, name, company, email domain and technical visit information, without the IP address or phone number) is sent to an artificial intelligence service (Groq, in the United States) that translates it into French and estimates how serious it is. This analysis is only an aid: every request is read and handled by a person on our team, and no decision is made automatically.

Some of these providers may store information outside Quebec. Before any such disclosure, we assess, as required by law, that the information will receive adequate protection.

  5. Retention and destruction

Requests received through the website are kept for no more than 24 months after they are received, then automatically destroyed along with the attached logo. If your request leads to an order, the information needed for invoicing is kept for as long as tax laws require. Visit statistics are automatically destroyed after 12 months.

  6. Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Requests and logos are stored on a server that only our team can access, protected by a password; logos are never published on the website. In the event of a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information.

  7. Cookies and analytics

The site uses no external analytics service and no advertising. It uses at most two cookies, which are never shared:

    • “m2sg_temoins” remembers your choice (accept or decline) for 12 months, so we do not ask again on every page. • “m2sg_appareil” is set only if you click “Accept”. It holds a random identifier that lets us recognize your device from one visit to the next: we can then tell how many times the same device has visited and which requests came from it. It contains no information about you and expires 12 months after your choice; we keep only a fingerprint of this identifier.

Without your consent, this cookie is disabled and the site works the same way. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page: if you decline after accepting, the cookie is deleted and your past visits and requests are no longer linked together. The administration area reserved for our team also uses a technical login cookie.

The site measures its own audience: for each page viewed, your browser reports the page to us, with a random visit identifier specific to the tab. To know how you found us, the page you arrived on and the site that led you there (for example a search engine) are kept, for the duration of your visit only, in your browser’s session storage; this information is erased when the tab is closed.

If your browser sends the “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal, no visit statistics are recorded and no tracking cookie is set.

  8. Your rights

At any time, you may ask to access the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, obtain a copy in a structured, commonly used technological format, or withdraw your consent. Write to ; we will reply within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca).

  9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page; any significant change will be indicated there.
